In the late 20th century, there is clear and free of cellular respiration division between industrial and other communications available primary telephone, television, radio, internet and computer services. Many service providers use the second generation (2G) digital wireless technology that allows voice communication and data services is limited, while many wireline, cable and satellite systems offered by various other communications. Despite the limitations of the original, cellular respiration, communication has succeeded, surpassing fixed line connections throughout the world in 2001, 12 years after market introduction. This has proven particularly in developing markets where, due to lower distribution costs, and flexibility of a larger network, wireless technology has become the main communication for millions of people, boost economic and social development of these markets.

Since the early 21st century, there have been major changes in the behavior of the telecommunications market services. Although the introduction of third generation (3G) IMT-2000 CDMA-based technology, wireless operators can quality voice services and broadband internet access and multimedia services, blurring the line between Telecom industry. Service providers and regulators throughout the developing markets and have been quick to adopt and promote technology. As a result, has quickly built on the back of the spread and adoption of 3G CDMA services. In the 7 years since introduction in 2000, more than 460 operators to launch CDMA2000 and WCDMA systems exceeded half a billion users in September 2007. Adoption of 3G mobile broadband technology such as CDMA2000 1xEV-DO and HSPA, to accelerate the 270 commercial systems serving more than 100 million users in 165 countries.

But once again, the wireless sector stood at Crossroads can choose and properly care for the future. These new dimensions include: the development of the voice, video, television, internet broadband and value added data services; cooperation between wireless and fixed networks, seamless pipe to facilitate the provision of these services for a network, improving the user experience and economy, and; convergence of industries such as communications , information and broadcasting.

IMT-generation CDMA-based systems, and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple (OFDM) technology, including OFDM-based technologies to proclaim such as DVB-H, OSKO and ISDB-T, will be a key enabler of the transition. Especially, CDMA2000 EV-DO Revision B (Rev B), HSPA +, Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB), Long Term Evolution (Malte), and Mobile WiMAX (802.16 m) can provide performance characteristics that will help multi - megabit -- per-second for the provision of user data, carrier-grade VoIP and other real-time and intensive broadband applications (Figure 1).

Although large markets and faster economic and small scope, technology, 3G CDMA will continue to be the leading platform for telecommunications, broadband and next generation services, preferably in the year 2020. However, some service obligations and new service providers are considering the purchase of additional spectrum and OFDM-based deployment system.

Regardless of your approach to existing technology roadmap, it is clear that the network fits-all strategy is not enough in a competitive market in the future. Alternative technology will be chosen depends on the operator's unique circumstances, including market opportunities, license, frequency technology selection, vendor relations and the propensity for risk. In other words, service providers will choose the best technology to meet the needs of the market and the economy.

From its inception, CDMA technology roadmap and technology has given operators the ability to guide the performance and time-to-market advantage. CDMA's grace before-and-return upgrades compatible technology in 1.25 MHz CDMA radio channel, CDMA operators have benefited from the favorable economic evolution in-band solutions. Because they can spread new technologies and service network throughout the entire value faster than their competitors.

Family CDMA2000 technology is positioned to remain a very important part of the convergence revolution. Commercial availability of CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Revision A (Rev. A) in 2006 and multi-carrier EV-DO, or EV-DO Revision B (Rev B) in 2008 to provide additional capacity through a simple software upgrade, CDMA2000 operators will be able to multi - megabits per second, average data rates to individual users, while improving small and large economies that offer coverage CDMA2000 sector.

OFDM solution residence will be built-out from time to time as the needs of high capacity broadband services grows and broad scope of the available bandwidth. Meanwhile, the 3G CDMA solutions will coexist with these higher bandwidth OFDM-based solutions based on OFDM technology is the ability to effectively equal or better to give added value to end users, with coverage everywhere, forcing broadband services, carrier-grade VoIP to remove the circuit-switched voice services, materials recovery, global roaming and increased profits for operators.

It is expected that the coexistence of CDMA and OFDM-based solutions will continue to more than 2020. Until then, 3G CDMA-based solutions will remain a core business for hundreds of operators. Is adoption criteria are met, more than 3-4 billion wireless subscribers in the world would they move to a new generation of wireless technology. With the increasing customer base, extend the migration process.

One technology that fits all approach is not competitive enough in the future communication market. Instead, suppliers will use a more appropriate technology for the application or service. Bluetooth will help the personal area network, NFC enabled mobile business, Wi-Fi network area will satisfy the connectivity, the GPS will allow the existence and location-based services, technology, 2G and 3G cellular respiration would vote everywhere and broadband data services, and technology based OFDM provides large amounts of bandwidth for backhaul, broadcast and broadband applications in the fire areas.

For many operators, 3G-CDMA technology base will be more than enough for voice and broadband data needs at least a decade. For those operators who need the bandwidth, especially in high traffic, OFDM-based technologies to provide some economic benefits that allow them to complete their service, articles and coverage. In many cases, 3G CDMA will remain the leading economic platform and many mobile broadband services.

OFDM solution residence will be built-out from time to time as demand for broadband services grow and become the available spectrum. This mass adoption of wide-bandwidth OFDM-based solutions will take years, if the expanded coverage is the market economy is built. In the meantime, CDMA2000 will continue to be the basis for hundreds of business operators for over a decade and play an important role in future wireless sector.
