So, what's the difference between Sirius and XM?
First of all, Sirius and XM provide all the commercial free music service broadcasted via satellites. Sirius offers 120 channels, or feeds, music, sports, and entertainment programming. For this service, Sirius costs average $12.95 monthly fee to subscribe to continental United States population. XM currently costs, on the other hand, has 122 channels broadcasting the same content (which is 68 music channels), and costs a small fee each month: $9.95. XM now has a large satellite marked with 2 million subscribers.
Why pay more Sirius? Sirius claims to be a big ljudkvalitet thanks their data multiplexing technology, which provides all the extra-wide bandwidth stream Sirius. This is the total should improve sound quality and resolution. There are suggestions, however small, to determine whether or not this system really improve a lot ljudkvalitet seen. Furthermore, Sirius offers a free audio feeds through the network to pay its customers, something XM costs a dollar extra for their new marriage. So if you plan to listen to the radio through the Internet often, you can expect to pay almost the same as any company you go with. Sirius also claims 24-hour customer service - something XM radio has not been fully achieved. Oh, and one more thing. Sirius has 2 NPR channels, for you NPR fans out there and NPR Now NPR Talk. Pretty cool.
So that means that Sirius is better? Well, it depends. XM has a few things tidy as well, like a bunch of cool XM Satellite Radio receiver and Displays. They also have the right to broadcast networks now, and perhaps more likely to expand services significantly in the near future. Generally, they are just about the same, and you will be better with one of these services than others.
